I shot this image while visiting my daughter in Australia whom we deeply miss. I wonder what Ram Dass has to say about this subtle shift in wording that somehow not only makes us present, but also uplifts the spirit.

I shot this on the sidewalk in Manhattan just after the passing of my mother. In that broken hearted moment, I looked down and immediately felt my mom’s wild playful energy hit me. I busted into tears and felt closer to her in that moment. I Fukin love you too, Mom.

True compatibility is the ability to sit in silence next to the one you Love (or some days just tolerate compassionately.) I personally love the way these two are each in their own world…and yet…still together.
